I am an experienced director with a long history of working in the health and safety industry. I have a proven track record in both strategic and operational leadership, which has been improved and informed by studying both philosophy and psychology at university. I am highly skilled in the design and delivery of behaviour-based H&S training, mental health first aid and management programs.
If I had a mission it would be: to help business leaders and H&S professionals develop their ability to think critically. I’d love to hear from anyone out there who has a similar approach to learning, so if that’s you and you fancy a chat please let me know.
I joined the Ouch Training Team in December 2016. My role here is always developing as I am constantly learning in the ever-evolving exciting world of Ouch!
I manage the quality assurance across our wide range of health, safety and well-being training programmes, the social media, customer relationships and marketing. I work with our fantastic office team here at our training venue in Wimborne, Dorset.
I am an Ambassador for the Dorset Chamber and a Wimborne BID Director.
I have over 20yrs working for Ouch, providing training and consultancy to a wide range of industries.
I have a passion for helping businesses improve their knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, I have a proven track record of facilitating learning for staff in a wide range of businesses from SME’s to Multinationals.
I’m approved instructor for IOSH; Jaupt CPC; UKATA; MHFA England, BSC; FAIB; IATP; FPA and Highfield courses.
Having worked at Ouch for 9 years, my main role as Finance Manager has always been varied with no two days being the same! Alongside finance, I also look after the IT systems, Ouch’s accreditations & memberships, and any continued projects. As well as my AAT qualification, I have also completed Prince2 Project Management and various Leadership & Management courses. I’m skilled in payroll management, office administration, budgeting and account reconciliation. I really enjoy the variation of tasks and being part of the team in Wimborne where we all work closely with each other to provide the best service to our customers.
I have been at Ouch since March 2020, along with my dog Rocco. I’m an Admin Assistant. My role is a busy one making sure of the smooth transition from booking a course, all the way to the issuing of your course certificates.
I have a strong background and many years of experience in Customer Service and Business Development.
