Mental Health First Aid: Adult (Online)

Certified by MHFA England, our two day mental health first aid course qualifies you as a ‘Mental Health First Aider’.

On completion of the training Mental Health First Aiders will have:

• An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
• Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
• Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
• Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgmental listening
• Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support including, self help resources whether that’s through their employer, NHS or a mixture of different support strategies

This course will be delivered via MHFA England online learning hub. Details of how to join the session will be emailed to you following booking. Please download the Order of Learning detailing the schedule of online learning and live group sessions.  

Course dates for Live Sessions: 6th & 7th October 2022 

6th October: 9.00am – 2.35pm

7th October: 9.00am – 4.45pm

This course uses blended learning, some tasks or activities will need to be completed by learners before and in between online sessions. Please ensure you set aside time to complete these.
