This practical first aid course has been designed to fulfil the first aid requirements of the ‘ISU Licence to Practice Training’ course. The training will enable ISU crews to offer practical first aid assistance at the scene of an incident and provide first aid cover for crews working in isolated areas away from the emergency services. Practical and realistic scenarios are delivered by experienced and qualified instructors which will enable delegates to learn and practice their new skills in a structured and controlled environment.
The course content is taken from the Licence to Practice training programme.

Delegates are assessed continually throughout the course. Successful delegates will receive an Ouch certificate of attendance that is valid for 3 years.
2 days (12 hrs). This course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates per trainer.
A recent statistic, released by St John’s Ambulance, has revealed that 140,000 people die each year in the UK from incidents where First Aid could possibly have saved their lives.
