This course focuses on the practical skills needed when dealing with accidents and emergencies involving children and babies.
This course is suitable for those who have occasional contact with young children in the workplace, or for parents / carers who wish to learn basic first aid skills.
N.B. This course may not meet the minimum recommended standard required of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted regulated childcare settings.
By the end of the course the delegates will have an understanding of how to deal with emergency first aid situations involving young children.
6 hours, usually delivered over one day, up to 2 evening sessions may be accommodated on request.
Continuous assessment by the trainer, successful delegates will receive a certificate that remains valid for 3 years.
